FAQ
What happens if my case involves a government vehicle or a defective road/sidewalk?
Claims involving government entities follow very different rules than ordinary injury cases. While the government can be held responsible, special protections apply, including:
- Short notice deadlines—sometimes as little as 60–120 days
- Strict procedural requirements
- Limitations on damages in certain situations
Road design, maintenance records, prior complaints, and weather response logs often become critical evidence. Because deadlines are shorter and mistakes can be fatal to the case, these claims must be evaluated immediately.
