FAQ

What should I do if the insurance company says my summer injury was "minor" even though I'm still in pain?

Don't assume the insurance company gets the final word.

Insurance adjusters often evaluate claims early, sometimes before the full extent of an injury is known. Many serious injuries—including traumatic brain injuries, ligament tears, back injuries, and chronic pain conditions—can worsen or become more apparent over time.

Continue following your doctor's recommendations, attend medical appointments, and keep records of your symptoms and limitations. If you're being told your injury is minor while you're still struggling with pain or daily activities, it may be time to seek legal guidance. Your experience matters, and your claim should be evaluated based on the reality of your recovery—not an insurance company's initial assessment.
